Kanban System

Day 1 – Visualise the work:

The first step was to simply take their existing work load and visualise it on a board. As you can see from this board, the team had far too much work in progress.

 

This was a repeating pattern seen by each team. When they visualised their work – Kanban style – it consistently showed far too much work in progress. The teams focus turned to reducing this WIP and maintaining a healthy flow.
